Andreas Gkouzos

Dr. Andreas Gouzos holds a PhD (2022) from Panteion University entitled "Spatial and sectoral dimension of regional development in Greece: An investigation from the perspective of economic theory and models of the economic base". He graduated postgraduate studies in "Integrated Development and Management of Rural Areas" at the Agricultural University of Athens (2009) and he holds a degree in Sociology from the Department of Sociology of the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (2007).

He is a Research Associate at the Institute of Regional Development of the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (2012-2022). During his studies, he has taught in the framework of the programme for updating the knowledge of graduates of higher education institutions in the field of "Organisation, Management of Tourism Enterprises and Promotion of Tourist Destinations". He has also been a member of the research team in the framework of the project "Support for Researchers with an Emphasis on Young Researchers". Finally, he has published and presented 21 papers in scientific journals and conferences.
