The Master's Program in "Economics and Management for Engineers" represents a specialized educational initiative of the Department of Financial and Management Engineering at the University of the Aegean.
The program is primarily designed for engineers with five-year university degrees and subsequently for graduates from schools of physical sciences, economic sciences, business administration, computer science, and other departments (Universities or Technical Educational Institutions) of tertiary education, both domestic and international.
The Master's Program aims to provide its graduates with competitive advantages, such as the ability to analyze and synthesize complex problems that combine different sectors of technology, informatics, management, and economics. Our graduates acquire skills in optimizing production and service systems, proper management of time, cost and resources, innovation management and development of new business initiatives, performance improvement, and public administration reorganization.

* High-level multifaceted education for executives capable of meeting the needs of the new economy with modern specializations in management and economics for engineers with a strong analytical background.
* Familiarization with contemporary technology and economics issues, and with methodological tools for managing and utilizing available technology and expertise in finance, operations management, decision-making, and strategic investments.
* Development of analytical and synthetic skills in business strategy and organization, decision-making, and financial product management.
* Introduction of technical specialists to the principles of public administration, public finance, and in-depth study of public sector reorganization, funding opportunities and implementation of public works, etc.
From the academic year 2023-2024, the program will be implemented **entirely through distance learning**, utilizing a synchronous education platform (real-time remote lectures).
