Mr Plakotaris is an economist with a Masters Degree in Regional Development. He has worked for several years as a consultant for development programmes of Greece and the European Union and as a partner of the Hellenic Society for Local Development and Local Government (E.E.T.A.A.). He is currently Head of the Interim Managing Authority of the North Aegean Regional Operational Programme (ROP-EESPA). He is a scientific collaborator of the MSc "Economics and Management for Engineers" since the academic year 2015-16.
