The course focuses to help students understand the multifaceted interactions between developments in the economic environment, the growth of competition, the rapid changes in technology and the functioning of markets with the development of new products and services, as well as the requirements created for the development of specific organizational and managerial capabilities by the businesses themselves.
Course Description
The course begins with the basic terminology of the subject of Strategy and then presents methods and tools for the strategic analysis of a company's external environment, the analysis of the internal environment, resources and capabilities, the investigation of a large number of strategic problems, the creation of alternative strategic options, and the formulation of a strategy implementation plan in the modern business environment.

Teaching method: The teaching of the course is based on lectures and presentation/discussion of case studies. Active student participation is essential and helps to understand the key concepts and tools of the course. At the same time, through the presentation of examples from the Greek and international context, students have the opportunity to understand the complex processes that take place in the business environment and to contribute to the critical evaluation of the various methods and approaches that are proposed and applied.
