Dr. Petros Dimas is a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratory of Industrial and Energy Economics (LIEE) in the School of Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He holds a Ph.D. from NTUA in the field of Industrial Economics, Industrial Policy, and International Competitiveness. He is a graduate of the NTUA School of Chemical Engineering and holds an MSc. in Applied Economics and Financial Analysis from the Department of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).
Since October 2023, he has been serving as an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Engineering Economics and Management at the University of the Aegean and concurrently teaches in the Interdepartmental MSc “Materials Science and Technology” at the School of Chemical Engineering, NTUA, co-teaching the course “Economics and Logistics of Materials” with NTUA Associate Professor A. Tsakanikas.
He has significant experience as a member of the EBE-NTUA research team on numerous national and European research projects. Concurrently, he works as an external consultant at the firm “Break-Even Consulting: Engineering Consultants – Business Consultants” and serves as a research associate and instructor at the NTUA Center for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM). In addition, he provides teaching assistance for undergraduate courses at the NTUA School of Chemical Engineering and for graduate courses in the Interdepartmental Graduate Program (IDPS) “Athens MBA,” jointly organized by NTUA and AUEB. In the past, she has served as a research associate at the NTUA Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit (MoKE) and the “EPI.noo” startup incubator of EPISEV-NTUA.
