Περιγραφή: 

The goal of the course is to provide postgraduate students with the administrative and organizational knowledge required for effective strategy formulation and management of Information Systems (IS) in modern businesses and organizations. The course focuses on identifying and analyzing the methods and techniques by which private and public organizations can design, use and manage Information Technologies, so as to exploit technological capabilities and opportunities and achieve their goals.

3. ICT Infrastructure: Software specifications, Critical Hardware and Networks
4. The Web-Based Services, e-business & e-goverment
5. Databases and related technologies
6. Designing and managing the development of ERP, the transition to digital Business Organization
7. Reengineering of business processes due to the introduction of a Digital Organization
8.Ethical and social aspects related to the Digital Organizations
9. Security & privacy aspects, the introduction of the GDPR framework.

Αντικειμενικοί Στόχοι μαθήματος (επιδιωκόμενα μαθησιακά αποτελέσματα): 

• To fully understand the basic principles for managing information systems within a digital organization.
•To understand the concepts related to the technologies used, and to describe the software modules and networks as parts of a unified information system.
• To select and to decide for the relevancy of the appropriate information systems based on organization and users’ needs and requirements
• To understand the design principles for delivering complex information systems, and in parallel to manage processes for enabling the considerations for ethical and socio-economic concepts in the design process of information systems
• To understand the management of business process reengineering methods for introducing innovative systems assuming a digital organization framework.
